Are you the person who made the character animations? If so, great job on that! This is a fantastic game

(+3)

yes :)

Fantastic work on a genuinely fun & charming escape room game, I can only imagine the amount of work that this took & wish you all the best in your future endeavours

great job!

It took me a solid ten minutes before I realised you had to actually click the egg with the math symbols mask to actually progress in the game.  Honestly a skill issue on my part.

I found your work on coolmathgames and fell in love. I feel like escape games are as well made as they used to be as of late but you're work has so much love and charm put into it! I also really love that you are using claymation for it! it's so suitable for it that I'm shocked I've never seen anyone do that before you!

I decided to play through your whole library of work and it is awe-inspiring how much you've improved! the puzzles are always inventive and the characters and locations are so charming and other-worldly (I like the MC in this game especially), it is adorable that everything is mimed and silent.

as a fan of yours, I DO have just a single constructive criticism (that I've noticed you're already working on, good job!)  and some suggestions for it but it is just my opinion.

Some of the puzzles can sometimes be unclear, such as the clock puzzle and the circle-number puzzle in the castle basement.  I'm very grateful for the hint system that you have implemented as I wouldn't have been able to pass those sections at all,  that is all good so far, as I could be just too absent-minded to notice the solution. However, I still don't understand how I'm supposed to comprehend the clock puzzle even after the MC explained the hints (not as not understanding the solution, more not understanding how I'm supposed to reach the logic behind the puzzle from the hint.

I've had similar issues with some of your older games (the planet map from Trace, understanding that I'm allowed to turn the x-screwdriver into a - screwdriver from scope), Don't shy away from written hints. I think just having an extra small note (or an example like what you did with the knight's homework! That was a fantastic hint) should do the trick.

Amazing work and I look forward to playing every single game you release from now on!

Thank you for enjoying! :)

this game was so cute i loved it! I love the art style of claymation and i've never seen a game made with it before! The puzzles were sometimes quite hard but i had a good time playing it regardless!

Time : 1 hour and 42 mins, 4,2k clicks and 18 hints used. thank god there was a hint option because i i would't know what to do in some moments. puzzles were definitely more logical and less frustrating than in TRACE (previous colorbomb's game) also the graphics is amazing and the characters are so cute!!  it's def the best colorbomb's game . It was so fun to play and the game ending was wholesome <3

Again, great graphics, great sound-effect, but the puzzles are either logical and pretty simple (that a good point) also either completely mathematical and very hard to understand ... Yes, is those kind of game that the authors have the sensation that it's too easy so they ruin the gameplay with dumb hardcore puzzles... Those kind of game that if you don't waste an entire afternoon you need to watch a soluce.... there even some hints in the game, the dev know their games are too frustrating ...

That it, I'm done with their game, I've done all of them, and really enjoy none of them... Too dumb difficult.

The graphics is again gorgeous, I like the atmosphere, the ingenuity in the puzzles, the characters etc... and it's FREE !

But it for the person who can lose an half day on a "short" game..

I've also report the game, because you can't play on Itch, now you need to go to an obscure site plenty of ad... (and again, no fullscreen.. what is wrong with you ??

(+2)

I liked it very much! very funny, clever, fresh! You can make a full adventure game with a similar story. It reminded me days of the tentacle!

(+2)

absolutely my favorite from you, and probably my favorite escape game to date. you do characters, expressions especially, REALLY well. the type and level of humor was really enjoyable and really fit with the style. looking forward to the next!!

(+1)

this is the best colorbomb's game

can anybody tell me how the tree puzzle works???? i dont understand it

(+3)

What are the names of all the characters? I’m doing a school assignment and wanted to make it about the game, and I was going to make pages for each of the characters.

(+4)(-1)

Main Character: Cole (they/them)
Princess: Princess Clayvian (she/her)
Wizard: Kwiz (he/him)
Robot: Big Bill
Knight: Draug Liaj (he/him)

Good luck with your assignment! :)

(+1)

Thank you so much!

(+3)

What about the little game boy guy and the cat? Perhaps the villain as well?

In all seriousness, this is an amazing game. Glad my school banned phones and forced us to resort to cool math games.

(1 edit)

cool math games was blocked for like my whole district(Picture was made by Colorbomb for a post I made on another game, cool picture)

(+3)

I love Colorbomb gamessssss!!!

(+1)

This game is amazing, love the funny and wholesome ending. And I LOVE the robot, he's just a funny fella! :D (Don't actually know the other prisoners names, idk if it's somewhere in the game and I just didn't notice.)

(+1)

Such a cute and fun game i've loved playing all of your games over the years! This one has got to be my favorite so far, keep up the amazing work!

(+1)

thank you! :)

(+1)

It was a very fun escape game!

The puzzle-solving part had clues scattered in various places, and it was a great feeling when I could connect them in my head.

And the artwork of this game, it is amazing that it is actually a real castle made of clay and small objects. That gave me a great sense of realism in the room and made it a great experience!

I fell in love with the princess at first sight, MEOW!

(+1)

Thank you! :)

Took me a little over an hour. What a cute and clever game, as usual from you!

Some spoilers ahead

I don’t know how to make the empty newlines?

I loved the goose and egg clues, the shape of the letters hint at where you’re supposed to use the answer (once you understand what it is). The tree puzzle could’ve been clearer on what was expected, as I commented in a reply. Hated the domino puzzles, haha – I found them quite difficult and they required some thinking and trial and error, not really my thing! They felt a bit too much like padding. But other than that, most of it is really clear, it just flows from one thing to another and realising where a thing goes is satisfying. Also introducing concepts and expanding their usage – A+!

Do I see a Neverhood reference, with Big Bill?

Also, since I’m a cat lover and have a black cat myself, I particularly loved that part! Oh, and the notes in the alchemy book were hilarious, especially the repeated face doodle, like the knight is trying to get the expression right, and the S thing. So realistic, hahaha

Thank you for enjoying! :)

this is so good!! i love your games so much they make me so happy

thanks! <3

(+1)

Great game, but I need help on the third domino puzzle

(+2)

spoilers ahead:

i love that a kitty saved the day! this is the best game

(+2)

pls can I have some help for the arcade machine puzzle T-T
i'm on the 3rd hint and I still can't get it

Spoilers below:

The arrow points FROM a color, TO another color. if the arrow is pointing TO red, it's coming FROM white.

However, there may be a circle below/above the arrow! Remember that this means to rotate the arrow 90 degrees clockwise/counterclockwise. Rotate the arrow, then figure out what it's pointing to.

(+1)

OMG TYSM!!

This was the first thing I truly couldn’t figure out and came looking for help (also, the in-game hints didn’t help at all. they said first to look at the arcade machine WHILE I was literally looking at it lol, and then to take a picture of the tree. I know! I was having trouble with what came next!). The first hint was just the arrow, so it looked like it just pointed to the first colour, and I kept trying to go from the bottom (white)! I tried yellow, then I tried orange ‘cause I took into consideration the circle rotating the arrow, but I didn’t think that it was going from one colour to another. This could be communicated better.

thank you

Played this game, loved it, played more of your stuff, loved all of those two. You've inspired me to start thinking about my own escape room game, and I look forward to seeing more projects from you! :D

PS: all of the characters are adorable, you're a great artist!

thanks!

(+1)

I love these games Colorbomb is a very talented games designer, it took me 3 hours to complete the game, i have created this quick walkthrough for anyone who is stuck, i have edited most of the game play out and just left in all the different things you need to do to finish the game, cant wait until the next one.  Thanks again Colorbomb.

(+1)

Very cool room escape game!! Interesting puzzles as always (I've played your other room escape games) ^^ & I like how there are animation sequences & that you can even talk to the characters :D The humour at the end was a nice touch too~ Really enjoyed the experience - thank you so much for creating this & hope to play more from your team

I love this game, but there's a bug that I can't seem to fix. It's the number thing and when I put 328 it didn't do anything. I reset the game multiple times, but it won't do anything. I also used the hint and it said 328 when confirmed that it was a bug. Please fix it, I really like this game and would love to continue it.

which puzzle? i  might be able to help

(+1)

MINOR SPOILERS + SOLUTION:

I ran into this problem too but found a fix:  Assuming you have the 6 4 3 top hat from the second wire shapes puzzle, you have to place it onto the goose drawing. Otherwise the 328 code solution won't register. I guess this is in place to stop players from brute forcing the code.

correct :) sorry if this caused any grief!

I just did that, but it still won't work.

did you inspect the periodic table in the lab?

what do you mean by that?

The game doesn't let you solve the blue hoops puzzle until you look at the "goose + egg" clue (located on the periodic table) AND put the hat onto the goose face.

(+1)

Really fun!
Also I am a bit scared to see what a 5/5 from you would be
