OK, first of all, your game is fantastic! Pretty, simple, and challenging. As a full-fledged adult, even I have to scratch my head at some of these. That said, the challenge isn't arbitrary, but down to being smart enough. The hints are good at letting the player piece together the puzzle themselves while giving them enough to work on when they are really stumped. Well done! I especially like the photographic memory mechanic. I wish more puzzle games employed this approach.

SPOILERS AHEAD (for bug report)

That said, I encountered a bug. All I did was keep pressing the item while the cutscene was processing to extend the telescope. Now I can't choose anything from my inventory.  I cannot give her the telescope. I had to refresh the browser but THANKFULLY we can retain our progress. Another amazing feature.

I loved this game just like the rest of your work! I was so exited when I saw it on Coolmath Games!

(+1)

Loved it!! Was so hyped to hear about another game of yours and couldn't wait to play. I'm such a fan!

(+1)

A wonderful game! I love the aesthetic and the stop-motion animations are adorable! It's clear that a lot of love and work went into this.

The puzzles were very entertaining as well, it took me like 2,5 h to get through it :,) There was one thing that confused me though:

I managed to open the cauldron at the end, but there doesn't seem to be any point to it? I already dropped the art book into it before that. Maybe that's a bug, and you're not supposed to be able to do that?

it is indeed a bug- it should be fixed soon! sorry about that.

10/10!! I always love every game you put out. I also love that there are hints this time. Thank you for this game <3

I encountered a strange bug randomly where when I tried to use the hint feature it gave me a hint which makes no sense where I was in the solve. The hint system gave me the "grey key" hint which was probably for when I got the grey key to escape. It might be possible to trigger it intentionally by backing away from the gate door after unlocking it. But hey I don't know.

interesting. I'll look into it!

 Spoilers ahead.

Hey bro, when talking about parts of the game or asking for hints, please do this,

"Spoilers ahead."

This way, anyone who hasn't gotten that far in can figure out the puzzle on their own.

sorry about that i wasnt really thinking

(+1)

I was stuck on the same part. You basically got the solution right, just made a mistake in the math.

(+1)

The puzzles are great and the style even cooler! Plus it was great seeing these quirky characters. Strongly recommended (by me).

(+1)

I really enjoyed this, I hope to see more from you soon! :)

IT'S SO GOOD, I LOVE IT!!

(+1)

This may just be your best escape game yet! The clever puzzles and visual style are a given, but I especially loved the characters this time around and would love to see more of them! Keep on making great stuff :D

(+1)

You are quite literally one of my favorite game creators; your games are gorgeous and always so much fun to play :) I can't wait to see more from you in the future!

(+1)

Love this! Really excited to see another great game from colorbomb. I think I may have encountered some bugs — entering blue squares to match the snake drawing didn't open the box, and I never found the key to unlock the cauldron but the book dipped anyway. Fun either way, I'm glad this didn't stop me from being able to finish the game.

Absolutely great game, loved playing it but
I have attempted to replay the game a couple times now and even after I have checked the crumbled paper in the hall the chest won't open. Sometimes it works after I have done every other thing I can do at that point though. Is there some kind of trigger as to when it will actually work like how other things require you to see the clue first?

im making a patch for this bug- you must click the back arrow to exit the paper in order for the trigger to work. clicking the crumpled paper doesnt cause the trigger to work. sorry!

nice

I have always been a huge fan of your games and this one was probably my favorite. The arcade puzzle caused me some confusion but the rest was pretty self explanatory. Keep up the great work!

I found walkthrough

Escape From Castle Claymount

Another very fun game, I love this clay escape game style!

If you accept bug reports, I found that you can already dip the book in the blue potion even without opening the lock. Cheers!

(+1)

do we have to play o coolmathgames??

hey the start button isn't showing up just the coolmathgames thing

(+2)

Maybe I'm just a bit slow, but I had to look up a walkthrough for the arcade.

Spoiler:

The way that the symbols show up made me think that I had to start at which color the arrow is pointing from and then turn to the color the arrow points to, rather than turning the arrow then using that to determine the colors. (Ex. Step 2, I started from green then thought I had to work to yellow).

Very frustrating.

(+1)

Congrats! What a beautiful game!   Thanks à lot!

(1 edit)

Any hints on the arcade? I tried all obvious combinations (I think). Starting at white, starting at the color the arrow points to with ending at the color the arrow should point to after properly rotating, the other way around. I just don't get it.

(1 edit) (+1)

First use the arrow glyph to turn the arrow that shows up, then connect the color it's pointing away from to the color it's pointing towards.

Oh geez, thanks. I was thinking starting where the arrow points to, then turn it and end at the color it then points to. Didn't think of this scenario yet.

Yes, but you can just open the game in a new tab using this link

The game looks amazing, loved it so much!

this game is overheating my laptop, can't play.  before anyone's sarcastic remarks, my laptop is a brand new macbook

(1 edit)

You have to pay for a cool screen resolution. The problem has been known for a long time:  https://stackoverflow.com/questions/30261999/webgl-performance-issues-with-retin...

Places I got stuck:

I don't know I can open the goose door.

I don't know the idea of start to end for arcade, maybe misguided by the cyan color a bit.

(+2)

Pretty fun, although once I solved goose + egg, I got softlocked as there was nowhere I could click to get away from it!

Hopefully once the exclusive period is over, you remember to unlock it here on itch ^v^

remember to pick up the wand in the orange machine! :)

(+2)

Oh wow, I tried to click around there a *lot*! I thought it was just the key, maybe there'll be an update that makes it more pronounced (It might not have even rendered!)

(+1)

Bumping this, i had the opposite problem of not being able to see the wand haha

(+2)

Played through! Lovely as always!!! 100/10!!!

(+1)
