This game was created as a part of the 2018 Gamemaker's Toolkit Game Jam!
The theme this year was: Genre, but without mechanic.
Our game is a Room-Escape game where you can't touch anything!*

... But what if you could cheat?
In this game, you'll play as an escape artist gifted with Ghost Powers! Give yourself a leg up by scouting the puzzles out as a Ghost!
Use -Ghost Vision- to peer through objects and find clues to piece together how this puzzle room works. You can also phase through doors!
Keep in mind that as a Ghost, you won't be able to interact with anything!!!
When you're ready, press start! you'll have 2 minutes to carry out your pre-prepared escape plan!

Double click the .exe to play the game!

I know this game is older and unlikely to be updated, but it feels like some of the puzzles aren't explained very well with the given clues, and some items are left out of ghost-sight entirely which makes the game go from a fun experience to an irritating one. Art is great as usual but I feel like things could definitely be improved!
I need help, how do I use keypad? Just tapping on the numbers does not work.
EDIT: Oops, never mind, tapping on them does work.
there's a glitch where if you put a vase on another it disappears
For some weird reason, the game refuses to open for me. I click the .exe and literally nothing happens :/

Very fun! Missed one important element on my first four or five tries and felt like I was going crazy but I finally got it. I'd love to see another escape room with this format!
wondering how difficult it'd be for you to port to mac and linux, just want to know if thats like a ten minute recompile or like a weeks reassembling etcetc
really fun stuff, escaped with 11s left (yay)
kinda proud of myself that i cleared it without using any guides and tutorials. took me a few attempts but managed to escape with 13 secs left. it wasn't easy but it was still fun, love it
Back in 2018, fullscreen doesn't exist yet ... too bad ...
set your desktop to 1366x768, it more comfortable.
The concept in interesting but sadly at a point, it's just a clicker that you desperately want to be lucky to find a right spot...
Last advice : mute the sound ... the loop is badly edited, and the music for the second part is just inaudible ...
Graphics are ok for that kind of game. puzzle are good too (if you find the right object, or the right pixel to click...)
